Q:
TALISE: Most definitely. Well, Mama Fasi was the founder of the Imani African American Dance Company here in Cleveland, Ohio which brought together hundreds of people in the community, uh, women, men, children, families, bringing them together to learn about culture. You know, and of course, that was where I first started, was right and with the Imani African American Dance Company and it was just an awesome company, you know. It was just awesome, bringing people together from various ethnic bath... backgrounds and me being able to witness a community, people who could help each other outside of drumming and dance, people who could be there for you spiritually, you know, to assist you with anything that you may be going through in your life, that's what the Imani African American Dance Company did for the community here in Cleveland, Ohio.
