Episode Description
The fairies are happy that it is time for recess and they race outside to go on the slide. Suddenly, the slide starts to shake and lift into the air before anyone can go down, and Abby discovers that there is a Playground Troll underneath. He tells the fairies that they cannot have the slide back unless they solve his Impossible Playground Problem, which is to name five things in the playground that start with the letter 'S'. Abby, Gonnigan, and Blogg name the slide, swing, sand, socks, and sparkles. The Playground Troll gives them back their slide, but now they must solve another Impossible Playground Problem to play on the swings. They have to build a castle using only things they find in the playground and they can't use magic. They twinkle think some ideas and Gonnigan suggests they try sand. They grab a bucket, add some water, and make a great sandcastle. The Playground Troll gives them back their swings and grumbles away. The fairies now head to the jungle gym, but once again the Playground Troll beats them there and gives them one more Impossible Playground Problem, which is to find an octagon. They twinkle think again and fly up high to look at the playground from above. They see that the jungle gym is in the shape of an octagon - it has eight sides and eight angles! The Playground Troll grumbles away for good, and Blogg decides he'd like to continue the fun and spend the rest of recess solving more problems.
Description
You are Elmo's detective assistant and together, you and Elmo imagine today's story- Detective the Musical! Detective Elmo is in his detective office, where he has a pad, a magnify glass and blocks to play with while he waits. The phone rings with his first case and the man on the phone says that he needs Elmo right away. When Elmo gets to the man's apartment, he finds him sneezing. He tells Elmo that he has been sneezing ever since a pepperoni pizza was delivered to him. Elmo uses his magnify glass to investigate and take a closer look at the pizza and notices that it's not pepperoni on the man's pizza- it's pepper! Elmo asks who the delivery guy was and the man says the he was shaped like a cube, a shape with six identical square sides. It's just like the block that Elmo has with him. Just then Elmo's phone rings with another case. He goes to the woman's apartment and finds her sneezing from a bouquet of flowers that was sent to her. Elmo takes a closer look at the flowers and notices that there is pepper on those, too. Elmo shows her his block and asks if the delivery guy looked like anything like it. She says yes. The cube strikes again! Elmo's phone rings once again. This time he goes to meet Mr. Ham Actor in his dress room and he's sneezing, too. Elmo uses his magnify glass and finds pepper in Mr. Ham Actor's salt and pepper mustache. The mustache was delivered by the cube! Elmo Investigates around the room and finds the hidden box with six square sides. The cube says he used the pepper because he didn't feel needed. Elmo and Mr. Ham Actor sing about all the uses for a cube like ice cubes and sugar cubes. Elmo discovers that the cube is a tissue box and that is something that is very much needed, especially with all of this sneezing going on! They celebrate with a song and then all of the characters in the story join them on stage for a final bow.
