× The AAPB is committed to complying with copyright law. Unfortunately, this means that sometimes we are unable to make available materials that you would like to see online. Most AAPB users understand this, and comply with our terms and conditions. However, recently, a user improperly downloaded episodes of Sesame Street that were restricted to AAPB premises. The restriction was based on both our agreement with the creators of Sesame Street and copyright law. AAPB has arranged for takedown of these episodes from the Internet Archive and YouTube, and has tightened security. For now, we have been forced to remove any AAPB access to Sesame Street with the exception of five programs for which we have received permission to make them available for research, educational, and informational purposes only. The archive will still be available on premises at the Library of Congress Moving Image Research Center to all registered users. We regret that the actions of a few irresponsible Sesame Street fans mean that other fans are now deprived of legal access to this cultural treasure on AAPB. We thank you for your understanding. You can get to Sesame Street in its official YouTube channel.

Description
Episode Description
Oscar's mother is coming to Sesame Street. Telly sets out to help Oscar buy a present for her from Finder's Keepers. Ruthie suggests a goruch classic called "The Green Grouch of Yucchingham and the Five Grouchketeers." The story unfolds about a grouch queen who believes she is the grouchiest in the land, until she foundout from her magic hubcap about the Green Grouch of Yucchingham. She mixes a batch of magic cookies: the Green Grouch eats them and turns into a prince. The only way the spell can be removed is if the Grouch Princess waves her pocketbook, sticks out her tongue, and has the 5 Grouchketeers say the alphabet. When the story is finished and Ruthie produces an original box of cookies, Oscar is in disbelief. He grabs the boxand eats them! Oscar, who is now Prince Charming and in love with Gina is awaiting the arrival of his mother. Telly and Ruthie save the day by contacting the Grouch Princess and getting the 5 Grouchketeers to recite the alphabet. Unfortunately, Oscar's mother gets wind of the mishap purely by chance.
