Take two and A and B. Both of those weren't bad. Anyone hear any glaring errors? No, but I do think that one of those takes to use from Gary and I. Uh -huh. Uh -huh. Uh -huh. And just say this is right or this is wrong. Okay. Good cops, bad cops. What you're going to do. What you're going to do. Is that working? All right. Okay. But, but you got to watch. Let's listen to it. Let's take three. Your right finger is forward. Is it up a track from track two then the bongos and clave? Okay. How come with his camera so much bigger than mine? You can say it's Gary. Okay. So we're going to, um, I guess we're going to rebuild the track. What, what else do we need? Maybe there's, what else? What, Bailey wants to try more if I brought it on his violin. So we want to go with the rhythm track of take two. There you go. Um, I don't know if Bailey, I imagine
Bailey's in all our, you know, thing. So we, the rest of us should redo our part. Yeah, I'm in it. So, so. And I can start adding shaker now. Is it making me well to get that right? That's right. Okay. And then. Then you should probably practice. And then we're going to take because while they're doing stuff, they don't. We're actually, uh, all right. We're about ready to roll and talk about tons houses. Yeah. Okay. Okay. All right. So, um, what is the CD about and how's it different from the first one? Well, the big difference is that the band has both expanded and slightly contracted. And in the expansion, we became a six piece. We added, uh, vibes, drums, and acoustic bass. And then Gabe, our cellist, recently actually decided he was going to do something else. So, he left the band. So, now we're a five piece. This, this CD sort of got several versions of the band because it's, as you might know, it's taken a long time to make this CD. We've been working it a long time. So, it represents sort of a more full version of the
band, uh, the material. Some of the material we started as a trio, so it's more orchestrated. Some of it we wrote for the fuller band. It's, uh, you know, what does it represent? I'm not sure it's just music we're interested in, you know. It's, it will be familiar to, uh, fans of three leg. It will be familiar to fans of three leg. We've been, we've been working this material for a while. And, uh, we're looking forward to getting it out on CD, obviously. Why did it take so long? Well, I mean, to really get down to the nuts and bolts of it, around when we brought out our first CD, I started developing carpal tunnel problems. And I couldn't play as well. And I wasn't as gung -ho to, you know, do stuff because I couldn't execute it as well. So that was, that was a long thing for me. That took a long time to deal with healing. And then also, uh, having, uh, having different guys in the band and sort of not, not being sure what the direction was for a while. I'm not so sure of that last part solely, too. But the carpal tunnel part is totally true. Like, that, that changed my, you know, my
ambition before carpal tunnel was to conquer the world with this music. After I got carpal tunnel, my ambition was to play music successfully, you know. And so, that changed. Now, I'm working pretty well physically, conquering the world would be kind of nice. But I'm just going one step at a time. I hate to say that I'm getting it. It's fine, of course, now, because it's not saying anything cool. What is a hit? Or just like a pop, a click. Okay. Is that partly because I... Where is your mic? Somewhere on my, no, somewhere on my neck. Where is it? Is your thing me job around it? Yeah, that's good call. I couldn't get an audio die. I see it. Well, everything's going well with you. Yeah, I know. So, if you wanted that, that was often nice about conquering the world, but I'm not sure it's usable. Can you say that again? Yeah, I can say that again. Okay. Are we rolling? Yes. Okay. Well, in terms of bringing out the CD,
I was mentioning how I got Carpool Tunnel. And before I got Carpool Tunnel, the ambition was to conquer the world with three legs. And the music was awesome. And we were going to take it out everywhere. After I got Carpool Tunnel, my ambition changed a fair bit to just being able to play music in a contented manner. And so, now, I've healed quite a bit. And now, we'll see if we can venture forth and conquer the world somewhat again. But I was humbled a little by the experience. But it also must make you feel good to know that all his fans still come out to see you. And you still have, without having a CD for five years, you know, you have a really loyal bunch of fans here. No, we feel very good about that. And it's been exciting to expand as a band and become a six piece. And that, you know, we hope that's been something that the audience is like to and gone with us. Okay. Enough. Good.
Let's get bail on. Oh, try. Okay, we're making TV. Okay. Talk up. Use your diaphragm. Hello. Hello. Guys, I'm big with your eyes. Yes. Yes. Jester. Okay. Stop. Cut everything out. All right. Right? Yes. Okay. How is this different? How is the CD the same or similar as the first one? How is it different? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It has a different. That's what it meant. Well, it's the same that Courtney Gabe and I are still on it. But definitely the music is a bit different. In what way? Right. Well, I mean, we've got new instruments in the band, so that makes a big difference. I just think some of the tunes are, I'm trying to remember back to our first album, you know, a few years back.
I think there was more of a chamber music element to our first album. And I mean, this still has some of that, but I think this is a little more fun. You know, it seems like more, it's more fun to me. Is it more fun to make this time? It's different. I mean, it is, it is fun. It's a lot of fun. Just as fun, I'd say. I wouldn't say more because our last studio recording was in a totally different studio and totally different people. And it was just, it was different, the fun. Were you a little more innocent than or a little more starry -eyed than you are now? No, I think I'm a little more innocent now. Why? At least I tried to act a little more innocent. Could you answer the question? I'm answering the question. Answer the goddamn
question. I think we were a little more innocent. Yes, maybe we were. Now we're a little rough around the edges and angrier. That's the right answer. What are these new guys bring? Oh, they bring love, I think. They just bring their, definitely their personalities and their, their musicianship is top, not, you know, top quality musicians. I love working with them. Personality seems to have a lot to do with this band, doesn't it? It can, if you want to look at it that way. It can. Yeah, we all have our own unique personalities. Okay. Good. Thank you. Thank you.
Thank you. Thank you.
