i missed cox and i'm doing talks and we're both originally from smithfield north carolina we were both born there and our civil war story comes from but says her family on our mother's side a family are great grandfather josiah watered enlisted in at sixty one in smithville but then across the county in bentonville our great great grandfather and the cajun cox spent part of the war apparently that i knew gordon boarding school just go for college the day that he was a quaker and his family sent him there to keep him from being me and drafted drafted by the confederates and paraguay they rana money and he came back to even though and he headed along with probably other are young quaker boys to avoid being constricted confederates in the woods here i think it's interesting that we represent that kind of polar opposites or they're in north carolina meanwhile last days to secede they're abolitionist here now are on one side a family we of quakers and then the other side a family and we have people
who are you know ready to join up and fight but what's interesting to me is you're talking about same county and all these people or white and yet in a very different way
