- First segment is interview with Cathy Mincberg, President of the Houston School Board of Trustees, and Felix Fraga, Houston Independent School District (HISD) trustee, about dissatisfaction with Dr. Joan Raymond, and the ongoing battle over HISD superintendent. Second segment is interview with Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of GalvestonHouston, Bishop Enrique San Pedro about letter from Roman Catholic bishops to President Bush regarding their stance against war in the Persian Gulf. Third segment is interview with John Bernard, Professor of English at the University of Houston, and William Simon, Professor of Sociology at the University of Houston, about a recent petition sent from University of Houston professors to President Bush and to Texans in Congress condemning the buildup of American troops in Saudi Arabia, and calling for more public debate. Fourth segment is interview with Sonceria "Sonny" Messiah, Publisher of the Houston Defender, Garvin Berry, columnist for the Houston Community Newspaper, Jane Ely, columnist for the Houston Chronicle, and Robert C. Newberry, columnist for the Houston Post, about the life of City Councilmember Judson Robinson, Jr., and how City Council will choose someone to take his seat. Episode includes commentary from Sheila Rushlo on holiday traditions.
