Moderator Lester Markel and his three guests discuss the meaning and the method of Kremlinology the sophisticated art that reveals what happens in Russias Kremlin. In a witty as well as educational conversation, the three Moscow experts contribute their personal experience and the techniques they have used to gain inside information. They also detail how this information aids the United States. Of particular interest, the three decide whether Kremlinology is a guessing game, a collection of hard facts, or an astute combination of both. Interview features Moderator Lester Markel, Sunday editor of the New York Times, Marshal Shulman, Department of Russian Studies, Harvard University, Philip Mosely, Council on Foreign Relations, New York, and Max Frankel, diplomatic correspondent, Washington Bureau, and former Moscow correspondent, New York Times.
