Description
Episode Description
Just what are teenagers like today? University of Michigan Television under the direction of Garnet R. Garrison explores that question in this series designed to help both teenagers and parents face teenage problems with confidence. The first episode goes directly to the younger set to get the answers. University and high school students are presented in four short vignettes portraying actual situations which arise in everyday life. Commenting on the dramatic sketches and leading the discussion period is tele-course instructor William C. Morse, who is an associate professor of educational psychology at the University of Michigan and Director of the University's Fresh Air Camp. The instructor explains, "What may seem like a minor problem, or no problem at all to adults, is sometimes a major obstacle in the life of a teenager."
