Description
Episode Description
This novel, written by a contemporary Frenchman, is comparatively unknown to the American reading audience. In the discussion, the claim is advanced that The Plague is one of the outstanding novels of this century although the book is so deceptively simple as not to appear so. Since it is a modern allegory, the group spends some time talking about allegories, Pilgrims Progress. (Description adapted from documents in the NET Microfiche)
