Description
Segment Description
Southern California's four national forests - the Angeles, Cleveland, San Bernardino and Los Padres - are home to more than 60 imperiled plants and animals. They're also popular destinations for thousands of people who hike, ride horses, bike, hunt or drive in them. The forest service is currently updating its management plans for the forests. Today is the last day for the public to submit comments about the plans and local environmentalists and others are rushing to do so. KPCC's Ilsa Setziol has the story.
