- 03 CTA BUS ANNOUNCER: Due to construction, you may experience delays on the Purple Line Express, Brown Line, and Red Line, especially during rush periods. (fade under) That recorded bus announcement heralds the coming of the much-dreaded three-tracking. The CTA is shutting down one of the northbound tracks serving two busy stations. That means people heading back to the north-side after a days work downtown will find the train capacity cut in half. It could double their commute times. - 04 The CTA isnt the only transit agency making changes. The suburban bus agency Pace is currently holding public forums to introduce the public to service changes in Will County and southern Cook County. The first forum took place earlier this week, and theres another at the Bedford Park Public Library today. Michael Bolton is the deputy executive director for Pace. Hes in charge of planning for the agency and joins us to discuss the proposed changes. Pace will continue holding forums through the end of the month
