Interview with Political candidate

The first thing I'm looking forward to, my six years on City Council, I've lived my life staring in the rearview mirror, trying to fix the problems of yesterday. And now, and that's tornado, that's the pension, that is, I don't know if it's COVID, but COVID is a present problem. But mainly, it's kind of saying, okay, what kind of city can we champion? And so that's the first thing I'm looking forward to is looking into the future with kind of a renewed staff and with confidence. The second thing is, is that, and it's kind of born out of that, this is a challenge that's been dictated to us and say, here's what you have to do, and this is how you, this is what you have to talk about, and then getting to the moment where you get to get to and say, okay, what do we want to talk about, what do we want to put our energies into, and also kind of getting in back into a more, a third thing is just more civility. We've lost our connection with people, we're living our lives on social media, we're absorbing ourselves into echo chambers, and it really is breaking down how people interact

with each other. And I would hope that after COVID, we might be able to come back together and be a little bit more, let's appreciate each other and appreciate our differences and let's be more of a community. Okay, thank you. Thank you. Bye for now.
