Protesters have gathered in front of the Capitol Hill restaurant Lark every Friday night for the last few months. Members of the group Northwest Animal Rights Network say they will continue to protest until Lark takes foie gras off the menu. The controversial dish is made from goose or duck liver that has been artificially fattened by force feeding the animal. Is it torture, as some animal activists say, or merely an age–old practice? Is it wrong to eat animals at all, or are there times when it is okay? Journalist Mark Caro's new book is "The Foie Gras Wars."
