- Description
- Wraps: Gemini Sign and Design - Conway, NH. The details now emerging from beneath more than two centuries of accumulated dirt promise to illuminate mysteries of the history of early American art. Christy Cunningham, who has conserved some of the oldest wall paintings in the world, tells why she is so impressed with the images she is finding here -- some of which were hidden beneath wallpaper for many years. The paintings depict Generethgarich, one of the first Native American ambassadors to be taken to Enland, as well as Abraham's offered sacrifice of Isaac and more.. How and why does someone become a firefighter? What does a young person expect from it? What have older people learned? How does "experience" teach "innocence"?. Donald Towle, Tom Curren, and Fred Ogmundsen sing historic folk hymns, farm songs, and ballads popular in the 1800's. They are called "The Good Old Plow."
