Description
Description
Wraps: . New Hampshire has its own "Field of Dreams" - in the back yard of John Morcom's home, the Moe Gonzales Field has been built with lots of hard work and love. Every Sunday afternoon and Wednesday evening, a couple of closeted wiffleball enthusiasts gather to play the sport of kids. These men range in age from 30 to 50 years old and hope to revive a classic (although rarely played) game.. We visited the 114th Deerfield Fair. It started in 1876 - the same year the potato bug showed up in Deerfield. These fairs are great places to look at things. By the way, the first fair ever in the whole country was sponsored here in Londonderry in 1722. The Deerfield Fair is one of the biggest and many consider it the best because it does not allow any gambling, alcohol, or girly shows.. We'll take a look at the history of Native Americans in New Hampshire from both an archaeological view, going back thousands of years with archaeologist Howard Sargent, and a more recent historical view with Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum co-founder Bud Thompson of Warner.
