Health officials suggest that anyone who ate at Johnson's Swedish Restaurant in Sister Bay between December 24th and January 5th and from January 15th until the president, should contact a physician if they experience fever, loss of appetite, or tiredness. [static] This week, University of Wisconsin president, Kenneth Shaw, gave a major policy address. Shaw outlined his plans for the future of the university system, now 15 years old, and gave a new definition to the Wisconsin idea. In the last analysis, the boundaries of the university will not be the boundaries of our state, rather, the boundaries of our minds.
A well known state religious leader also spoke out this week on the relationship between church and state. Speaking from the center of state government, Catholic Archbishop Rembert Weakland commented on the intertwining of moral and political issues.
