- Here and Now, Hour-long election special, Fred co-hosts with guest host Colin Benedict, Gubernatorial Race, Solo interview with Incumbent candidate for goveror. Topics include education, healthcare, property taxes and sales tax, campaign spending, negative campaign ads, and Mark Green. Lieutenant Governor's Race, A round-table discussion with the three candidates for Lieutenant Governor, Incumbent candidate Barbara Lawton; green party candidate Leon Todd, and republican candidate Jean Hundertmark. Topics Include the role of Lieutenant Gov. taxpayers' bill of rights, corruption in state government, senate bill 1, public and private choice schools, universal healthcare, embryonic stem cell research,,Reality Check, For tonight's campaign ad Reality Check, we have analysis of two recent spots, ads that target issues in the governor's race. The first is an ad paid for by the state teacher's union but nothing to do with education. The second issue ad was funded by Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce. It calls into question the incumbent's record on everything from money for nursing homes to property taxes. US Senate Race, Solo Interview with Green Party candidate for US Senate. Topics include the war in Iraq, homeland security and terrorism, No Child Left Behind, and public healthcare. Attorney General Debate, J.B. Van Hollen and Kathleen Falk met this week at a debate sponsored by a group of organizations, including the State Bar of Wisconsin. Falk and Van Hollen attacked each other's resumes, both saying the other was unfit for the job of Wisconsin's top cop. Other topics included fixing the DNA backlog at the State Crime Lab and pursuing internet predators. Here are some highlights from that debate. Secretary of State Race, All three candidates for secretary of state, Incumbent democrat Doug Lafollette, Green party candidate Mike La Forest, and republican nominee Sandi Sullivan, have a round-table discussion on the race. Topics if interest include the role of Secretary of State, election supervision, and what should be done that isn't.
