The governor will travel to Joplin on Thursday to attend the new Casey's distribution ribbon cutting ceremony and visit Kansas City University Medical Center dental school. He scheduled to arrive at the distribution center at 9, followed by a visit to the Casey U Medical Center at 10, following stops in Joplin personal travel to Lewisburg to visit the Dallas County Technical Center. The visit is his first public appearance in Joplin since May of last year. Governor on Tuesday ordered the Missouri State Capitol Dome and Missouri Governor's mansion to shine purple on Thursday in recognition of military child's day. The Dome and Governor's mansion will light up at sunset April 15th and remain lit until April 16th. The color purple represents all branches of the military, combination of each of their respective colors combined into one. For KRPS, I'm Fred Fletcher-Fierro in Web City.
