Program Description
Documentary about the history of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. This documentary covers Speaker Ban Law, which prohibited known members of the Communist party, those who advocated overthrowing the United States or North Carolina constitutions, and those who invoked the Fifth Amendment when asked about communism from speaking at the university. Written, produced, and directed by Gary Hawkins.
