On August 18 1988 50 years to the day that the bridge was opened. WMP E-W NPI public TV represent the Thousand Islands bridge and arm our friendship between us that. We stand as prestige fought for one of the richest natural assets provided anywhere in the world. Using exclusive footage of the bridge being built in 1937 and the dedication ceremonies in 1938. This documentary will capture the beauty of the Thousand Islands as well as the important role that the bridge system is played over 50 years.
