He spoke with Mitch Wertlieb about these issues, and whether he thinks this election season seems especially negative and aggressive.

And as the saying goes, you ain't seen nothing yet. The midterm elections are drawing closer and candidates are ramping up ads that so far, pull no punches. The nature of those ads will be part of the discussion later this afternoon as VPR presents a free symposium on politics, media, and money at St. Michael's College.
