Interview with Howard Smith

It's just working with people, being around students. You know, it's kind of a passion. I think that you get emotionally tied to some types of things. I really like working with students in the staff. I love education, I've been in it all my whole life. It's just, it's so rewarding. I mean, when you get to see success stories, and you see people accomplish goals that maybe they thought they couldn't. So to me, it's just, I had a person one day say to me, I have to take off, I have to take vacation to do what you do for a living. And I thought about that a lot. You know, I enjoy what I do, I enjoy coming to work every day. And I think it's important that everybody like that. And I love what I do.
