I never want us to get comfortable with that. I think that's a good way to kill music and melody and harmony with them not just with them alone if not music. Jazz is a place where anything is possible. That's just what I want to do. There's always more to learn. I try to come in a verbal way. Jazz is understanding what you play. How is everybody doing.

This next band coming out to play for you some of the best players in our country and our jazz scene and this tenor player is a good buddy of mine I've traveled in different parts of the world with him played on several stages with him. He's an incredible player full of vocabulary full of swing and he's got a great sound and a great band. Give it up Rochester for the Harry Allen quartet. It's.

You use. To. Be. Gotten out of the business and gone into engineering long before I was born. So
when I was a kid he played a lot of records around the house but he wasn't playing. So he introduced me to a lot of a lot of great music. I learned to love jazz as a very young young boy. So in that way he was he was a great big influence on the other hand. I started playing accordion because salesman knocked at the door and my father didn't push it on us at all my sister started playing and I just always wanted to play the saxophone so long and really didn't have that much to do with my father but a love of music definitely came from. On. You. When I was just starting out a friend of my dad's computers suggested pick up Scott Hamilton Scott Hamilton Right. I heard that great big beautiful sound. That's why I want to play. It was really to that record that made me go in that direction. Since then. I just figured I like the pretty. I like to play pretty I like to play ballads. I like I like pretty rather than music.
