Episode Description
In this episode from the "Bed and Breakfasts of the Bayou State" series of "A Taste of Louisiana" from December 12, 1998, Chef John Folse visits the Butler Greenwood Plantation in St. Francisville, Louisiana. In the studio kitchen, he prepares Southern Fried Chicken and Sweet Farre Dressing. Back at Butler Greenwood, Chef Folse and owner Anne Butler make a Sweet Potato Pie. Lastly, he visits with furniture makers Gordon Graham and Wayne Zuccarello.
Description
Chef Folse travels to St. Francisville to visit the Butler-Greenwood Plantation, where he prepares sweet potato pie with owner Anne Butler. Other items on the menu are sweet farre dressing, Port Hudson's southern-fried chicken, whipped potato clouds and spicy fried chicken gravy. Folse also visits with furniture makers Wayne Zuccarello and Gordon Graham.
