- Description
- Lake Erie is most often thought of as a world class walleye fishery, but as host Glen Blackwood learns, the lake's smallmouth bass can be brought to hand on a fly rod. Guide Gerry Darkes explains how utilizing a sinking fly line, coupled with a stripping technique, can be successful in going deep after the smallmouth bass. Included in the program are discussions of various flies, casting techniques, what underwater structure to look for, and a fly tying demonstration of the Green Clouser Minnow.
