Oh I haven't done very much of that I've kept my ground I see Governor of Opie from time to time and get a shot of Joe and Richard at the Senate a book once in a whole great pilotage up from Washington. So I keep my trying to keep my contacts in so you keep your ear to the ground. What have you been hearing what I've been hearing a lot of political gossip in the city of Boston and more on National are going to be the president candidate on the Republican side. What have you been hearing. I've been hearing a lot of different gosh if I think around here in New England Mr. Rockefeller Governor Rockefeller very strong at the present time of course the candidate who people most know is Mr. Nixon. Mr. Reagan is. Having a lot to say. So I think it's wide open at the present time and I don't think you can pick a candidate yet. Have you been in any back rooms or do you plan to be in any back rooms and

they're going to wandering for the presidential candidate. Not I don't think so I've always been in the room that it's chosen the vice president for the last four or five conventions but vice president candidate. But the group in Massachusetts should be under the general control of the governor of Opie and tendered a book. I did it for a good many years as governor and a senator and now it's their turn. What do you think will be what should be the major issues in the presidential race. Why I think it's too early to tell I think depends a lot on what's going on over in southeast Asia in the Middle East and of course with many of our domestic programs here at home and the problem of inflation will certainly be with us.
