I had no faith in the Vietnamese illiterate so avoid if it possibly could what it was. Ed Hynes of Queens knob 31 was a marine through the time of the bloodiest fighting in one hundred sixty eight. He was one of the lucky ones in his patrol a landmine ripped his buddies apart and caught some shrapnel but it's getting by with regular check ups at the V.A. Hospital in Brooklyn. Then there's Michael Leonard was served aboard an aircraft carrier 1966. Ironically he got through the war OK but was shot during a mugging incident at his front door in Brooklyn. Like so many Vietnam veterans he's unhappy with the turn of events in the country he felt he was fighting to save. It just seems like a lost sheep without us. I hate to see this at everything again. It's just seemed like everything we were doing was in vain. Even though it's been seven years since he was wounded. News of South Vietnamese troops deserving the same grounded Hines and his buddies fought for has left the ex-Marine with bitter memories and feelings that finds a way out of the sea again.
You know a lot of guys that are still up in the west in places like that I go to see him. That would look they would talk to us and we're you know like his world. View was setting up foreign policy where you do. Start taking care of people right in our states of America not by a policy so let's just start right here at home. That's what I do.
