This is badna. Okay, let's go. Bye-bye. Now, there you are. All the other doctors. Kids in my lab. Hello. Keep Cath forget as clear as possible for the judicial Assuming
Yeah, Ooh. I'm finally going to go to the web site. Welcome my home friend.
How are you? Hello. Hello, friends. So what are you doing in this friend? Enter. Well, I trained a little here for it. Good trail. Well, Marked. And warm, huh? Yeah, all of a sudden cold, warm, here. Well, do you think the weather and parts of you was a factor in your winning just because it's a little bit colder up there? Maybe you gave a job to advance. No, not really. And, uh, I had to use some parkies in a little bit more a while ago. So what was your strategy? How'd you win? Well, I had to try to be a step ahead to answer. Time to eat.
Come in, I split. So it was, uh, it was, uh, it was one of the long, the entire trail of, uh, it was the same time. And then, uh, on the way down, you got about a half of salt. Well, what happens there? You could have your, uh, correct. Right. Hey, I started to pushing from here. Yeah, diagnostic. knocking. caching. Take calculation. kick down the way from off. Turn to slowing it up here. Thank you. OK. What a time. Pretty much, what are you liking? I don't know. Thank my sponsor's Baker Aviation and my mom and pop for watching the dog to my wife and John Baker, Tony, I was going to find you in though. Oh, I'm part of the official time in was 1047, that's 46 hours, 47 minutes.
Oh, that's fine. Oh, it's cool. Okay. Really pretty sure what it is. How's his dog? Good, you're welcome. You're welcome. Good, you're welcome. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Good, you're welcome. You're so rich and good. Yeah. It's a little more quick question for you. So, it's hard. Yeah. So, it was a high point of a trail. It's the most exciting part of the race. And most of the last time we came out. Yeah. Last night, that was one thing in mind. Last night in the mile. It was chasing me in. I don't know what it is. That has to be a question. Stay away from me. At least the distance. Yeah. I'm going to try and see what I'm going to take care of. Right over here. He was just a mile. Can you? Because I have a mile. Do you guys know that? Yeah. So, um, how about this way you were feeling? What was the one to be in your mind? You really are.
Yeah. You know, they say that the leader of the pack has a disadvantage. Oh, they can't see what's going on behind. What do you feel about that? Yeah. Oh, I had to beat all the way. So, great trail most of the time. Yeah. How much credit do you give your dog? Yeah. Oh, seven percent, maybe. Nine? The number number number number number number number. You need to move some up a little. No, you best work for them. No, no. We'll clear the shoots, they're all back, we're extremely ill across the line, please.
They're all back from the shoot. Let's see what happens right here. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And else. Thank you, I guess. No, it's pretty good. Thank you. All right. All right. Good time to get your breath. Oh, yeah. I have a lot of time in the last couple of miles. Well, Rick, you know, going into this race, and everyone thought you had the advantage,
you know, having known the trail, some of them being veterans. What was the slip up for you? Oh, bogus creek, I guess. Was the weather a factor? Oh, I think it was the same for all of us. The weather. You know, what do you think this race hinged on? It's funny how this stronger team. Can you elaborate on that a little bit? Well, I mean, he just said a little better team, I guess. Better in what way? Well, you got your first. I mean, do you think the fact that maybe they were training and whether that's similar to these conditions could have? Oh, no. I didn't have any trouble with the weather. My leaders were good. Oh, he just said a little stronger team here at the end. I kind of miscalculated their bogus creek and had a cup of coffee. I shouldn't have had any away goals. Hey, but Rick, there's the K-300 next year. A chance of the triple crown.
It kind of adds a little more suspense. What do you think about that? Well, yeah. There's a dinner on coming up before that in the Cobut 440. I'll get another shot. It's on me up there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Rick, I got to sign in now. No. He came in at 11 o'clock, huh? The left time, 47 hours. Just sign in right time. Okay. You're the second one in. You come in at 1047. You come in at 11. Uh-huh. 13 minutes. Now. Okay. 13 minute mistake. Rick, you and Sunny were actually close all the way up the trail. That's what I was expecting. And out of any act, yeah. You got out of about a half hour later. Don't know, Sunny. Well, what happens there? Oh, I just thought my dog made a little more rest. And I was cooking up some more food and put it in that cooler. And, uh, I don't think that, that wasn't any, any problem there. I mean, that, I didn't. I don't think that was, that hurt me. You were forced to play catch up on the way back down.
Was there, was there a specific time when you really made a move and really pushed to try and get something? Well, no, I kind of thought I was slowly getting them there. But when I pulled into Bogus Creek, I had to do some adjusting on my lights. I wanted to make sure I had two lights going through there. I was kind of having trouble staying awake. What does this wouldn't say about mushing? I mean, here, here, you're a two time winner and a rookie to the race wins. Does it kind of add to the unpredictability of the race? Oh, yeah, that's good. I mean, Sunny Russell's been running dogs for a long time. And, uh, been racing up in costume doing good. And, you know, other than running the run into a few times, it's just the first time he's come down here. Probably thanks to some sponsors that, that he's got. And, uh, you know, he did a good job. So how do you feel that you'll stand for your next big race? Oh, I feel pretty good about that. How about the dogs? And everybody was real worried about your dogs. I mean, how'd they do?
Overall. The good ones here did good. They're fun. None of them got hurt or anything. And, uh, you know, they did a little rest. But they did pretty good. I was real pleased with this bunch here. Right here. Right. Thanks. All right. Thanks. Nice. Nice. Yeah. I saw you a couple of times anyway. Yeah. Sleeping bag is right here. There's a little higher. Oh, yeah. There you go.
Okay. Hand off. Good. All right. All right.
All right. There was no good time to come down. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Yeah.
