- This episode is a reversion featuring segments from previous episodes as well as new segments. The episode begins with Firefighter, a segment that originally aired as a part of episode 902, about transgendered fire chief Michele Kammerer. The Man behind the mouse segment from episode 1004 spotlights Tom Schumacher of the Walt Disney Co. A segment from episode 1406, Miss Richfield profiles the Midwestern drag performer. Outspoken reverend is a segment about Rev. Irene Monroe, which originally aired episode 805. The Real to reel segment is a rebroadcast from episode 1209, about Simon and I, Bev Ditsie's documentary film about South African AIDS activists Simon Nkoli. The Coming out stories segment features six individuals sharing their stories of coming out in the workplace. Judy Shepard, Sam Behrens and Howard Dean provide the episode's PSAs.
