- This premier music episode highlights the music of the First Annual Arkansas Acoustic Festival, a two-day acoustic competition and concert at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) Reynolds Performance Hall. The program centers on the "Showdown", a competition among Arkansas bands and soloists. Showcasing performers from around the state, viewers are treated to an eclectic mix of original compositions by some of the state's best singer/songwriters. Brian Driscoll and the Kat Hood Trio, the winning soloist and band of the festival, perform before national headlining act, the California bluegrass trio, Nickel Creek.
