Concluding tonight's Eastman School concert we've heard the string quartet number two of Elliott Carter
played by the Colombian quartet of our crowns and Michael Tolomeo violins Melvin Butler Viola and Benjamin Smith cello on next week's Eastman School concert honoring Howard Hanson on his seventy second birthday. We'll hear a concert of his music under his direction as performed during Howard Hanson week in 1066. These broadcasts of performances by students at the University of Rochester as Eastman School of Music are made possible by the cooperation of the Rochester musicians Association. Local 66 of the American Federation of Musicians. Music from Manchester has been made available to national educational radio bought a Xerox Corporation and radio station WBA mi Rochester New York. This program was distributed by the national educational radio network.
