as Thomas creator of the black gospel music during the 20s. He wrote a piano and. During that time he also took an interest in sacred music and compose many songs that would later be called gospel songs. In 1932 his first wife died while he was on the road. But within a short period of time he had rallied enough to join a friend in an evening of music. That night he holds what many call his masterpiece. From then on he wrote and worked with religious music. A lot has been translated into thirty two languages and recorded virtually every black and white. Music is tremendous not just for black or white.
