I don't know if this is a common public impatience unrealistic expectations or what. But it's my understanding of the average urban school superintendent less three to five years. Is that enough time to get anything really accomplished. That data point is exaggerated. OK it's a poll. 2.5 years. What that means. But that's neither time was five years. You'll start to see some so traction and some progress that's sustainable. What you don't want to see is Rob of students you want to see the angle going up and you know what. But if it's 2.5 years every superintendent gets paid more than the superintendent what goes after 2.5 years what less. If you're going to cut the literacy classes for periods shouldn't those classes include some understanding of not only I do have a sense of urgency. Your child in school right now can the police try to get some understanding of what it's going to
take and how long to turn this distance right. And that's why any real good when should outlive the individual or individuals who are responsible for grafting. And any good leader understands that he or she is expendable in the world of change not because you should be around just a couple of years but the plan and the commitment to it should have a consensus and support by the community so that drives the agenda and the people have value to it. How do you stop us from throwing out the baby with the bath water. If a good plan should live the individual left in this then we expect the individual whose coming in will also have a good plan to replace the plan of the individual before him or her. That's precisely the problem. You can't keep spinning around there are some things that are just so fundamental and need to be in place and anyone who comes in at a later point in time should add value to it. You know the fact that we have
a new consent decree for us to comply with in special education. That shouldn't be subject to any body needs ideas you have to comply with the expectations of the federal district court. So it's a question of galvanizing resources to make sure that not altering the path to the left or to the right. Not just any Our time has run out. Thank you very much for joining the get go good luck to. Thank you and thank you for watching. As always stay well. Good night.
