We walk. I see you all out with minority races no matter what the African-American vote that you put them in who seemed to have one and told me that the college grad with add one to two years of college or even a high school grad who seems to have a little more on the ball than run of the mill. They come across the desk revert from regular where they work. I'm trying to see what their background is and what I can do to help get them how to get the traditional job and with at the moment they may be functioning. We have the zone with all the other offices in the area but there's no resume the outlying offices that are in the morning Duffield library and then when the needles into qualification we homos. It was talk to the specialists who are there
who have access to the job. When people meet the river the MO that the interview began. These men have no real knowledge of their own to the field and this is amazing. Placements to be made one gone wrong. The people who have never known that they are good but some of them would never know they did what the queen do and I love them. There are some dozen to go back there are some who come from some of the Southern states who hate ingredients in the field I think go to to get it with reason. When we come across one young man who had married three children had re in biology. Pretty good as Google had never done anything in his life or
would never have an opportunity. You're putting your training into effect. You came in next week I had nothing for an exam board but through the leaders only I was very wrong. There's the world my God and demand. When the background was done it was these and send him over and send him over the top doing development job was mad that morning the young man is now a research assistant. I might say broke down and cried on the telephone when he called me back and told me that he had the job. Now these are the primary to be believed come from out of this day the people that I was a California born and bred have a much different experience and a bit of a look I have another young man who tried every job I did every civil service exam date from November until May.
Those didn't catch a thing I got to the point where the disease come in the office. I just couldn't place in all of those that need the breaks again for a door was opened up that he didn't know existed. Very very bright boy had been trained as though they did not live outside of the ghetto in the racially imbalanced area they were concerned with what's going to happen to your family should an emergency arise for instance if a kid gets sick and you've got to use the riots to take the kid to go back to who is going to take care of the rest of the kids. So for instance a kid comes home sick from school and your wife's not
there and certainly you're not going to to look after the kid in the ghetto or because of a feeling that I was pregnant earlier or that somebody is going to concern themselves with your child. Be sure of this. I'm south of the ghetto because of the hospital perhaps but some of the persons that were very big and have this worry outside of the ghetto that there might be some vandalism against Princeton. There were times when she expressed doubt as to what would happen if our living side of the ghetto and you were away from work. I wait to word that there should be some acts of vandalism perpetrated. I would not know what to do and I inspected her I have a gun. I am opposed to violence but I will to my death to protect my family against Brock. All right I said
now it's dangerous I'm sure with the kids to lead this gun but I will show you how to use it. Don't shoot him outside of the window. Right until they get out of the window and whomever it is written by man. I had some friends to move to bar when he holds the first week they were there. The hose was turned into the front room several weeks after a patio window smashed. Next the hospital burglarized. This was in broad and who knows. And thinking in terms of our own personal safety Actually she was not a martyr but she would not like to play the position are part of a martyr. She would like to have things going smoothly I told her I said there will come a time when it might be necessary to really go into them and say you will not drive me out I put my money down. This is my home my wife feels that this particular group of people living there next door who
immediately not a meeting about a month afterwards put the sign a permit we were later told by them. I was later told by him that he had changed jobs and would of course be moving closer to the work. But it was the same time I want to remark that in face to face crime from the first of those confrontations she was not extended the current realities of Good Morning or how are you. He looked at her turned aside and said nothing. But perhaps this was taking something away from her as a human being because she had always been accustomed to explain pleasantries. But of course myself I have nothing to do with me. I have nothing to do with women. I could care less when moving out of the ghetto. First of all she had movies and greater educational opportunities for the kids. In other words in the ghetto you learn to speak as the ghetto
and then to speak as a person living in to get out and once you are transcend the vocabulary of the ghetto or you're in them situation becomes most protrusion are hearing and the pronunciation becomes most perfusion. You were interned as a person that would prefer to be someone you have somewhere else instead of the ghetto. So one of the kids one of the kids to have the best prosper at Granite was as far as enunciation diction and all the rest of this jazz. She wanted to the security of knowing that the circle of the child's friends would be in the same circle as ours and this is not right you can't possibly find out who is in the ghetto because you have professional people living next door to nonprofessional people not because they could not afford to live anywhere else but because prayer we had restricted cabinets and the houses were just not being sent to them. But now with these situations you can
move out of the ghetto. He was hungry for food. And actually wanted it so badly he would jump at whatever happened when the hospital offered him an opportunity to keep his head that he would snatch it. We rehabilitated more now not only that it tends to not ever will you know in fact if you ever you know you have to check the records. They got the record right down down all the Muslims who had been convicted many many times on not so many narcotics of some of the. Very ones that the day you see as as a whole in my Many of them have a varied background in narcotics trafficking. We have some right now that can hardly even go to Mexico to take care of any business because of their back now you have to register and all that but many that are like that right now we have to look at how they get out in and out of the city because of their background with the game. We were rehabilitated far more addicts and and to a greater degree you have misread
far less recidivism among the Muslims then you do the center now and have this other one that they have here and they also have it in New York. Can't wait how well you have a high degree of recidivism and both of those but you don't have it among the most even those who get weaker. Fall away from the leadership of the army let him home what he has put in them. You very seldom find one that will go back to Dr. narcotic. And recognizing the spiritual aspect of it can you see us and because Mr. Muhammad doesn't do just anything different about narcotics anything different about alcohol anything different about steel. He teaches us the same way you do all the stuff that they're putting on about cancer and cigarettes you have to do anything more than that just anything is that cigarettes do anymore you can even tell us that it did them and he told us some of the things that he did but he didn't go in and explicitly talk about the expansion of the blood vessels and so for the now this call has heart trouble in the NRA and all various other duties he didn't even do it with the Word of God when he stopped us from the dietary
habits we had we learned all of the stuff that he was telling us about the food in biology but it didn't stop us. We don't know what he told us about our whole chemistry but it didn't stop us. He never studied chemistry he never studied biology. He never did. To the other you never studied psychology yet he was able to stop us from the very thing you do for getting X likes it. And once he arouses the natural religion that's enough he doesn't put a religion and he really brings out the religion is enough. And then once he arouses them then he is able then to instill enough the desire to please the God that we now recognize as a newspaper mama. The trend which is out there that program for a while they read it everybody knows where we are and they know what we're doing. They all know they're all friends and you can be up there with the spikes of all the noun like they are. They see him walking the street cleaning up right they see that they can look at them and tell that they have cleaned up and they don't do it on a slow withdrawal and all that sort of stuff the wean off of it. They call that cold turkey is just kick it right out the window and they see their friends.
They see their friends lives so they know what we're doing. We think that for the effort that put into it that we have the alley learn how to get great results there. In fact there's nobody who had to repeat it. They can honestly say they've benefited. Even those who have not because of. Their way of life changes a little thing. Take some of what Mr. Mom to do and they improve their lives. So we do find we do know many who have not accepted Islam but who have visited us and before they become completely conquered their lives begin to change. They begin to. Treat their family they begin to have more responsibility about the use of their will there are every day they begin to see a future for themselves. They think more about their children's education it was something up in the Bahamas. Places great stress and emphasis on education about your business. Many of us missed the opportunity and then places great stress on our children being educated and you find that people want to get into they become far more aware of the economic plan that he has this plan for your savings program for the feeling of a
black bear. This is within the imagination of I think they're more conscious of the book and if you didn't then you mention that we should for the next three years sacrifice limit out for no more than three suits. And you. And not over $65 for a six hour $16 for a parachute. Well people are becoming and many would not know of some who have never been to the mouth of the river on the beach. They're becoming more conscious they're beginning to look how they've been extravagant drawing away their focus teaching get in return as far as I read a book didn't have the book the pardoning of people stand and think for themselves. If I have all of the actual independent thought that's going on among blacks. But they came directly from him. It took a while for it to sink into Obama or for them to begin to react. Whenever you see negroes with these nationalist group Somalis call themselves they want to be called Negro and all that. All that came from out of the well this is again true but the UN if you look at the pump has done this because.
He was talking to his father when he said sacrifice because this is your bill when I probably ought to get out of my way to a great number of the early music resources here. Well you see him go up to 3000 to you because the mom has to tell if I was to go back to the recency here and with the same people that we were before we start falling off except he's changed our religion and things that we think of in things that we are living. When I was working the same job that we were working on we were Christian. We make the same amount of money I'm going to reserve we have maybe $10 more you know mother or something like that. Yet we're able to do so much more with it that we're able to have five six and seven days a year and it would deny everything. It would mean we didn't even stop and think about I mean this is you have to be told that stuff by and somebody something here only for you as a you find that the only way I would have awakened a great amount of self pride in the black people in any community that in fact you can go in the city. It's hard to plan a city now but there was a time five or six years ago your fantasy however it was no Muslim. If you could go in there and just extensive the day of the new girl just walking down the main street in the Black Hills. And then. Let me ask you this every day that a group has this one and I think this
is a young thing come back. About five years later. Take pictures again. You see those same people on the things we believe in Christopher. They need. To be clean. They were there they're all there and we did. Well this is the effect of the Muslims in the community. But another thing you find that the longer I'm not in any real great number I've been able to afford to do it. But those who have been able by various means whether I would just have been able to accrue a certain amount of money. Have been very concerned. With. Conspicuous. If every fucking. Stereotype flashy type of people who meet me if I'm going to have all the money we mean they want to then go into lavish living like a millionaire. Well this is one of the things come up with this. Nothing is telling us that sacrifice let's stop trying to live like millionaires and then have to think that our private millionaires don't have the baby after you know we got to be a millionaire go down and buy a loan car pay
for cash on the spot. Before we got out bad enough to start the rest of the years and all that but this is a this is a status symbol for status and with the advent of so I think it's best to tell whether we see how the millionaire lives. Well then this makes sense that this arouses more the desire to live like we have here. I mean. For one. And most of the time it was. The menu maker. But we do know that people want to hear from him because companies are. Just going to allow.
People from. Out. And these people are people. They don't know. And they have been educated in the fact that there is something. To move on. Another increase in the Apple Bill another. Thing the people making and. Getting. That can. Get a trouble out there. I think it's very important.
For everyone working together. To find a recreational player center. Or learning. Center happening in the community. Things are happening. There are people that work just. Like. Every hour together. Together.
To which two. People came. For the material and the study. And the. People. We begin with this first. Returning to the library. The material here. You can even hear what's going. On in this very room. So the people to bring him here every library use it.
But you can't find the material. We do have the material that people book. One another and think of our country would meet an engine. And that is what you know evenings from. Jefferson High School who were in this area. And. Each semester when he too at least will bring it. Over to the library one night. So that those who are still about we've been talking. May have a chance. To get to. Become regular users when. We consider them. And the world as well as we can with anything. That we knew about which is an improvement. Approach not on the bases so we are social
problems. The main thing going with more on the basis of experience is virtually identical and this one is things like when I was here and I don't mean to kill or the skin I mean grooming of the boys. Positive approach Congeniality things like those that are going to be the criteria for and many don't. Right as a citizen becomes a better citizen.
For the. Extremist groups Afro Americans if you're going to grow an extremist I would certainly for the Muslims of your extremist I would certainly not. Perhaps more than that by virtue of the fact that there is simply have nothing to do with them because as far as these people are able to ascertain they believe in a strange god these people have been so they believe they have nothing to do with Malcolm
X or spokesman. Malcolm X who are constantly asked to read the paper I dare say that there is quite a circulation as well as the literature is concerned. Many persons will take the literature because even though we may not agree with them we see these as blood brothers and we see these to these people to us as being people that are actually doing something about it. Consequence is not with him talking with several of these were as they say well what have we to do in many instances and not most instances but in many instances most of these people in the Muslims do have prison that is so immediately as far as civil service and Roman which is the largest single procurer of Negro talent is concerned. We can no longer work here because we have a restaurant that has a civil service where the county state or federal. So we're also going to
grow especially for people who have to go to work with some marginal jobs to become most of. We doing these movements comes out of meetings he says. So even though these people. I am.

A man discusses how the social limitations of the ghetto affect education and the ability to buy a house outside of the ghetto. Another man explains how Muslims' religious beliefs keep them from the use of drugs and alcohol and how the Muslim religion produces a sense of self pride. Two librarians talk about their library clientele and their information needs and desires. A county civil service employee discusses the extra barriers Blacks face that Whites don't in procuring a good job.
