- Slim Martin - Port Advisor - Saigon Port - South Vietnam & James Considine - Port Advisor - Da Nang Port - South Vietnam. Shots of dock activity, loading and unloading goods. Slim Martin talks about coordinating activities of the US army, responsible for discharging all cargo, starting the use of using pallets to discharge goods. Shots of ships in the port, loading and unloading cargo. Boat leaves port and sails away. At 04:13 Shots of James Consodine on deck, drinking coffee, shots of cargo being unloaded at Da Nang port. Stand-up on small boat in harbor, introduces himself as the port advisor for Da Nang. Talks about the port being very shallow, so off-loading happens on the water and the effect of the weather on operations. Supply region with rice, corn cement. Shows bags of rice being unloaded.
