In this program the viewer sees a Fuller geodesic dome constructed. A stop-motion film compresses the five-hour construction job into a brief sequence, and gives a clear view of this design, which covers a maximum of area with a minimum of structure. Demonstrating the geodesic idea, Mr. Fuller points out that his geometry is based on sixty-degree angles rather than the conventional ninety-degree angles, and that the main structural element of his buildings is the triangle.
