Episode Description
"This reading lesson teaches comprehension and recognition of thirteen vocabulary words; demonstrates various ways in which animals move; shows daily activities of zoo animals; encourages children to visit the zoo, an interesting and exciting place. 'Zoo' consists of music and scenes that show the various ways different animals do many of the same things. Near the end of the program, the announcer pauses 3 seconds before completing each sentence, giving the children an opportunity to complete it themselves by saying the word superimposed on the screen."--1971 Peabody Digest.
