Series Description
"The Introductory program to a series of seven programs tracing the economic, geographic and historical background to South Vietnam. The series also dealt in depth with the character of the government of Ngo Dinh Diem, U.S. involvement in South Vietnam, and the work and reports of the International Control Commission. Special attention was also given to North Vietnam[.] The Introduction deals with the difficulty of accurately reporting events from the area."--1963 Peabody Awards entry form.
