- "Included here are the elements of an environmental project presented by KLRU TV-18, public television in Austin, Texas. GSD&M, an advertising agency that took KLRU on as a pro bono account, collaborated with KLRU. It all started in April of 1990 when television and radio public service announcements were distributed to the Austin Association of Broadcasters (AAB), giving them the option of tagging the spots as desired. Fourteen radios and TV stations out of the 19 AAB members broadcast the spots throughout the rest of 1990. KLRU tagged its regularly aired as well as its new special environmental programs [with the] 'It Means The World To All Of Us' logo. A soft feed of 'It Means The World To All Of Us' spots was provided nationally by Southern Education Communication Association so stations across the country could broadcast them. In another area of the year-long outreach effort, KLRU's Community Advisory Board Members participated by giving away trees at an area mall one Saturday morning in April.
