Description
Episode Description
The video enclosed is a copy of the program that aired on April 9, 1982. It began by examining the state of small town businesses by following E.C. Mayeau, business consultant, on calls to several of his clients. In the same program Channel 13 interviewed the president of the International Association of Machinists, William Winpisinger. The program highlight was Lamar Muse, the chairman and chief executive officer of Muse Air Corporation. He discussed the future of the airlines and its fight for survival. "The final segment of 'Who's in Charge' talked with Pat Pantorini and the new ABC Super-radio."--1982 Peabody Awards entry form.
Series Description
"The weekly series talks about the business in a complete form. The producer filtered through all the stories on business for the week to decide what really [affects] our community, then examines both sides of the issues -- the positive as well as the negative. The program offers a look at major headlines from the business arena, an interview segment with key business leaders, a short feature on 'Who's in Charge Here'? and a special, in-depth report on a topic of major interest.
